Bazaar offers Mardi Gras fun

A Mardi Gras celebration was held on Tuesday, Feb. 24, as part of the Saint Mary’s University’s Founder’s Week events.

Students and staff were invited to attend the Mardi Gras Bizarre Bazaar for a night of games, snacks, live music and prizes.

Those who attended could decorate t-shirts, eat sandwiches and cupcakes, make masks, play games, listen to music and more.

Various campus clubs and groups provided information, activities and tickets for chances to win prizes later in the event.

“It was a great time,” said senior Maria Sullivan. “It was a fun study break, and everyone seemed to enjoy the food, games and music.”
